Privacy Policy

Effective: August 1, 2026

MiniBridge is designed to work without an account or cloud service. The iPhone/iPad app and Mac companion communicate directly over a local USB or paired Wi-Fi connection.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect screen content, keyboard input, pointer input, device usage analytics, advertising identifiers, contacts, location, or browsing activity. MiniBridge contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDK.

Screen and control data

Screen frames and control messages are processed only to provide the active local session. They are not uploaded to MiniBridge servers or retained after the session.

Pairing credentials

Credentials used to authenticate a paired Wi-Fi connection are stored locally in the Apple Keychain on each device. They are not sent to us.

Diagnostics

Diagnostic logging is off by default. If you explicitly enable it, each app keeps a private local log capped at 2 MB. MiniBridge removes known device names, identifiers, network addresses, account-like values, and local user paths before storage and sanitizes the report again before presenting it in a system save or share panel. Turning logging off clears the local log. Nothing is uploaded automatically; you decide whether and how to share it.

Optional Internet check

The Mac companion performs no background Internet probes. If you click “Test Internet” in one-cable diagnostics, it sends one small HTTPS request to Apple’s captive-network endpoint using an ephemeral session. No cookie or response is retained by MiniBridge. Apple and your network provider can observe ordinary request metadata such as your IP address, timestamp, and user agent.

Optional update check

The Mac companion checks for updates only when you click “Check for Updates”. It requests a small manifest from minibridge.tinytiny.cn using an ephemeral HTTPS session with no cookies or cache. The request does not contain screen content, controls, diagnostics, device identifiers, or an account ID. The website and network providers can observe ordinary request metadata such as your IP address, timestamp, app version, and user agent. MiniBridge never downloads or installs an update without your action.

Purchases

Apple processes App Store purchases and may provide us with aggregated sales and transaction status under Apple’s policies. MiniBridge does not receive your full payment-card details.

Website

This website uses no advertising cookies or tracking scripts. The hosting and network providers may process basic request information such as IP address, timestamp, and user agent for delivery, reliability, and abuse prevention under their own policies.

Children

MiniBridge is a general utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Material changes will be published on this page with a new effective date. A support contact will be published here before commercial release.
